      Back to school!

    These adorable graphics are part of a collection from Whimsy's Attic. I fell in love with the "Littles" collection the first time I saw it, because I immediately thought of my little first graders. The "Littles" remind me of how innocent and how excited about life my first graders are. The loss of a tooth, the sight of leaves swirling to the ground in the fall, or even just the act of catching a Ladybug is as exciting to a first grader as buying a brand new car is to us!  It's the little things in life that they notice that we tend to look over. That is why I love teaching first grade!  How lucky I am to have the opportunity to see life through a first graders eyes!
